Our Mission
We fight for justice for poor and persecuted Christians in Pakistan by providing free legal aid and material support.
We defend… and we rescue.
Where We Serve
We focus our efforts on the nation of Pakistan — the world’s 7th most dangerous country for Christians. Christians in Pakistan are considered second-class citizens and face discrimination, abduction, violence, and wrongful imprisonment on a daily basis.
What we do
We partner with a Pakistani-run law firm, Legal Aid for the Destitute and Settlement (LADS), founded by Defend & Rescue Board member Parvez Aslam Choudhry. The LADS legal team risk their safety to represent poor, persecuted Christians in court — freeing slaves, rescuing the abducted, and pursuing justice for Christians falsely accused of blasphemy and other crimes simply because of their faith.

“I’m Christian by faith and born in a Christian family. I used to work in a factory. There was a boy who offered me to embrace Islam and to marry him. I refused to do so. He got furious. After some days, he abducted me, tortured me both mentally and physically. He even kept threatening to kill me and my family to make me accept Islam, even though I didn’t want to. After a time, I ran away from there as soon as I got a chance. Then, I came to LADS. LADS not only provided me free legal aid but also dissolved my Muslim marriage through court. Now, I’m free. And peacefully living in my Christian family. At present, I’m regular to church and I want to die in Christianity. Thank you, LADS and Entire Team, for helping me throughout my tough time.”
